Smartfish is committed to reducing its environmental impact and aims to use natural resources efficiently in all aspects of its operations. We actively work to minimize our footprint through sustainable practices in resource use, production, packaging, and transport.

We take anti-doping seriously and care about our athletes' safety. All our products are tested for prohibited substances. We are proud to be Informed Sport certified.
SUSTAINABLE FISHING
The fish oil used in Smartfish products comes from wild-caught cod in clean Norwegian waters. The oil is extracted from cod liver, where the concentration of fish oil is high, which contributes to the entire fish being utilized for food with minimal waste.
During the fishing season, the fish is delivered daily to selected stations nearby, where it is carefully cleaned and stabilized.
RECYCLABLE PACKAGING
The packaging used for all Smartfish products consists of recyclable cartons made from raw materials from sustainably managed forests. Tetra Pak packaging is recyclable and has a low carbon footprint.
The square shape of the carton allows for efficient storage and transport with minimal empty space. In addition, the packaging ensures a long shelf life and simplifies waste management.
